Introducing Tribe
We are a team of wealth managers and impact specialists. We focus on aligning wealth stewardship and creation with our clients’ personal values, financial requirements and the change they wish to see in the world. Our goal is to deliver long-term positive impact and growth for everyone. Our theory of change? To change the very nature of wealth and its impact.
We have all been through the ImpactDNA™ process and our stories, values and Tribe themes can all be found below.

David Scott
David is Tribe’s Chairman, as well as a Partner. Previously he founded Vestra Wealth, which became LGT Vestra, where he was Chairman. Before Vestra Wealth David was Managing Director of UBS in London, where he headed up the high net worth UK division. Prior to UBS, he co-founded and was Managing Partner of Scott Goodman Harris, a boutique advisory business.
ImpactDNATM: David’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Enterprise & Infrastructure. Having grown up in East Africa and Northern Ireland before moving to London he is only too aware of the pressures that urbanisation causes on the environment, resources and economies. He believes that the private sector need to support the challenges faced by directing greater capital and human resources towards addressing and supporting these issues across the globe.
Louise Blanc
Louise is Head of Marketing at Tribe. She is responsible for Tribe’s brand, marketing and communications. For over a decade Louise has worked across B2B and B2C marketing in finance and tech. She joined Tribe in 2019 from LGT Vestra. Louise holds a Bachelor of Business & Commerce and Bachelor of Communications.
ImpactDNATM: Louise’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education and Equality – in particular Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being ) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality). She wants to see an inclusive and healthy global society which promotes equal opportunities and access to healthcare.
Amy Clarke
Amy is our Chief Impact Officer, responsible for developing and overseeing the approach we have to delivering positive, sustained impact across our business and our investments. After studying environmental sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate level, Amy has spent 26 years working in sustainability, as a consultant, and as an in-house sustainability lead. Amy has a deep understanding of what successful sustainability management, integration and reporting is. She also has a great awareness of the social, economic and environmental issues we face having spent her entire career working in the impact economy.
ImpactDNATM: Amy’s values are most closely aligned with Tribe Theme – Environment & Ecology. Amy passionately believes that Nature teaches us all we need to know about the changes we must make to ensure everyone and everything thrives. She believes that the root cause of so much of what we face as a global community stems from our disconnect and lack of engagement with Nature, and, therefore, with ourselves. She firmly believes that the wisdom of our ancestors, still firmly rooted in indigenous peoples, has been lost and that their wisdom and many of those values need to be mainstreamed into finance if we are to create the resilient, regenerative and equitable new world we need.
James Lawson
James is one of the Co-Founders of Tribe, and is the Managing Partner. James has been in wealth management for over two decades, starting at UBS where he looked after private clients. He then founded Ledbury Research, helping wealth management organisations to understand their clients and provide them with a better service. Ledbury worked with eight of the ten largest global wealth managers and this experience was part of James’ drive to build a more effective solution. He has a Masters in Economics and holds the CFA designation. James is passionate about enterprise and is a Board Trustee at UnLtd, the UK’s largest supporter of social entrepreneurs.
ImpactDNATM: James’ values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education & Equality – in particular Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 3 (Good Health & Well Being) as well as Goal 15 (Life on Land). He believes that access to education is the cornerstone of both a more inclusive society and clearer understanding of our planetary boundaries.
Harry Catchpole
Harry is a Co-Founder and Partner at Tribe. He is responsible for working directly with and advising HNW individuals, families, charities and foundations. Harry started his career at HSBC Private Bank in London and is a former Vice President of J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
ImpactDNATM: Harry’s values are aligned with Tribe Theme – Education & Equality. Harry believes that education and healthcare are the foundations upon which we can build a more equal society. When approached in a thoughtful and considered manner, private capital can support the work of the public and voluntary sectors in solving the sustainability issues that we face as a global community. Harry believes better engagement with wealth leads to better outcomes for all.
Yann Demont
Yann is an Impact Manager at Tribe. He is responsible for making sure our clients’ investments are aligned to their environmental and social values. Yann is also responsible for our impact data and reporting. Before Tribe, Yann worked for Zoï Environment Network, Ethos and Aonyx where he advised on environmental security and resilience, ESG and impact for pension funds, as well as helping SME’s transition to more sustainable business models.
ImpactDNATM: Yann’s values are aligned to Tribe Theme – Environment & Ecology – in particular Goal 13 (Climate Action) and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production). Yann believes that whilst some companies are contributing to environmental issues, many are part of the solution, which is why he is passionate about helping redirect capital to those companies creating positive impact.
James Innes
Jamie is a Partner and Investment Manager at Tribe where his primary responsibilities include portfolio construction and management, macroeconomic research and fund due diligence. He also leads Tribe’s Investment and Fund Selection Committees. Jamie joined Tribe from Schroders and has worked in Wealth Management across asset classes for almost a decade. Externally Jamie sits on the Impact Investing Institute Learning Advisory Panel and is former Chairman of the CFA UK Impact Investing Group. He is a CFA Charterholder.
ImpactDNATM: Jamie’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education & Equality. With a Bsc in Political Science and an interest in Behavioural Economics, he believes that Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) are critical if we want to incentivise consumers and governments into addressing humanity’s largest collective challenges: global inequality and climate change.
Siobhan Lazeris
Siobhan’s values are aligned to Tribe Theme – Enterprise and Infrastructure. She is passionate about helping people and wanting to create a greater sense of community where people (young and old) can get the help and support they need to thrive as individuals. At Tribe, Siobhan is responsible for Compliance and Legal and works closely with the Team to build an impact and values led wealth management business. Siobhan has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, which has included working for Goldman Sachs focusing on Private Wealth Management Compliance and the last 10 years working with our Chairman at LGT Vestra, where she was a Partner, Head of Compliance and Legal and Member of the Management Board.
Christopher Toy
Liberty Simpson
Liberty is a Wealth Analyst at Tribe, supporting the wealth management team in providing a seamless client experience. After graduating from Exeter University reading Modern Languages, Liberty took some time out to travel before moving to London where she worked in both corporate and non-profit businesses. She is currently undertaking her Investment Advice Diploma (level 4). Liberty is involved in several charitable projects including as a volunteer at Peckham Food Cycle and also at the Robes Project in Brixton.
ImpactDNATM: Liberty’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education and Equality, in particular SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). She passionately believes that it is our collective responsibility to ensure equality for all, and that business has the power to deliver this.
Fred Kooij
Fred is Chief Investment Officer at Tribe and is responsible for the strategic asset allocation and investment selections for Tribe portfolios. Fred has more than twenty years investment and fund management experience. He was top ranked by Institutional Investor in both equities and leveraged finance while at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse, before moving to the buy side where he was Head of Research for Global Leverage Finance at Bluebay Asset Management. In 2014, he joined Digital World Capital as CIO and Partner, an alternatives fund managing long/short global equities and credit. Fred is also an active angel investor in a number of impact businesses and has extensive experience as a non-executive director in the media space.
ImpactDNATM: Fred’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Environment & Ecology, particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action). Fred believes that corporate stakeholders – customers, suppliers, employees – understand that ignoring negative environmental externalities is a growing business risk, both reputationally and operationally, and the investment community in turn is beginning to realise this could influence the cost of and access to capital.
Neil Hill
Neil is a Partner and Wealth Manager at Tribe working directly with new and existing clients. Neil joined Tribe from JP Morgan Private Bank where he spent eight years as a relationship manager. He previously worked at HSBC Private Bank. Prior to working in finance, Neil spent 10 years in the public sector working at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and with the British Army.
ImpactDNATM: Neil’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education & Equality – particularly SDGs 4 (Quality Education) & SDG 5 (Gender Equality), which together work towards providing a good and fair education for all. Raised by teachers, Neil believes education is the key to a more equal society – a belief that was reinforced during his service in army. As an officer, Neil served alongside people from a range of backgrounds and saw the dramatic impact access to education had on the paths open to them.
Amy Simon
Amy is an Impact Analyst at Tribe focused on sustainability and impact analysis, as well as our fund due diligence and engagement activity. She has volunteered and interned with numerous mission-driven organisations including the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre, Amnesty International, Campaign to Protect Rural England and Action for Refugees in Lewisham. Prior to joining Tribe she worked at ShareAction on a shareholder engagement campaign calling for stronger corporate decarbonisation strategies and targets.
ImpactDNATM: Amy’s values are most closely aligned with Tribe Theme – Environment & Ecology. Having studied human geography and environmental science to postgraduate level, Amy has a deep concern for both ecological resilience and social justice (and the intersections between the two). She believes that the finance system can and must evolve into a force for good, capable of facilitating a just transition and shaping a more regenerative economy that truly meets the needs of both people and the planet.
Aaron Gaide
Aaron is a Wealth Manager working directly with clients, as well as our network of advisers. After studying psychology and sociology at Dartmouth College, Aaron spent over seven years in the asset management industry throughout the United States, including Boston and Los Angeles. Working closely with advisers and wealth management industry leaders, Aaron has a deepened understanding of capital markets, portfolio management and fund administration
ImpactDNATM: Aaron’s values are most closely aligned with Tribe Theme – Governance and Partnerships. Aaron believes that exponential behaviour change is necessary in order for people and the planet to thrive in the 21st century, and that we can effectively transition by collaboratively recalibrating our current social, economic and political frameworks.
Cate Quentin
Cate is a Wealth Manager working with HNW individuals and the charitable and corporate sectors. She joined Tribe after seven years at Standard Bank Group where she managed the wealth of West African families and individuals and developed the Ghana business from inception. With a background in international development and wealth management Cate is committed to helping clients grow their wealth whilst also having a positive impact on the world. Cate has a Masters in Development Studies from SOAS University and a PGCert in Philanthropy and Social Investment from Cass Business School.
ImpactDNATM: Cate’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education & Equality – in particular Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Cate believes the way to achieve sustainable growth is by creating a more equal and inclusive global society where everyone can fairly participate both politically and economically.
