Tribe is excited to be one of the signatories of HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter. This is a commitment by the Treasury and signatory firms to work together to build a more balanced and fair financial services industry. The Charter:

  • commits firms to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector by focusing on the executive pipeline and the mid-tier level;
  • recognises the diversity of the sector and that firms will have different starting points – each firm should therefore set its own targets and implement the right strategy for their organisation;
  • requires firms to publicly report on progress to deliver against these internal targets to support the transparency and accountability needed to drive change.
  • The Charter is accessible here

As a B Corps we believe that businesses should be a force for good, across operations and core marketplace products and services. We are delighted to integrate the Women in Finance Charter commitments into our core business, ensuring that as we grow we will take action to ensure we reflect the diversity of society.

As we approach our first full year of trading, we are thrilled that we have a 50/50 split at senior management level within Tribe. We are committing to maintaining that balance within our business and will update our website accordingly with more comprehensive targets and data in due course, alongside our commitment to be transparent and report on our performance across multiple metrics.

We applaud HM Treasury for developing and launching such a commitment for our industry and look forward to reviewing the progress of the sector as a whole. For more information on the Charter please visit here.
