Join us for Tribe’s latest fireside where our Chief Impact Officer, Amy Clarke, gets the inside story from leaders in sustainability and business.

We were joined by Karl Lokko, the co-founder and chairman of Black Seed, the first venture capital firm in Europe that only invests in and supports black-owned businesses.

Karl Lokko is an entrepreneur, influential activist, poet, public speaker, and adventurer. After facing adversity early in life, Karl has channelled his challenging experiences into a force for change. His unique journey has positioned him as a prominent voice in the UK and around the world.

Watch or listen to Karl describe his experiences as a child of Ghanaian entrepreneurial immigrants, how he found himself leading a south west London gang, to breaking systemic barriers and founding the first VC solely dedicated to black-led start-ups.
