Steven is an Equity Analyst, supporting the Tribe investment process. His main role is to assist with the management of Tribe’s direct equity investments. This involves identifying and monitoring listed businesses that can contribute impact and financial performance to Tribe’s portfolios.
Prior to joining Tribe, Steven worked as an equity analyst at Arisaig Partners, an investment management firm focused on global long-only equities, particularly in Emerging Markets.
Steven has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Economics from University College London. He is a CFA charterholder.
Outside of work Steven enjoys rock climbing, walking his dog and spending time with his wife and young son.
I’d be running a climbing wall. I have been a keen rock climber since I was a teenager, although it’s harder to get away now with a young child!

Steve’s values are most aligned with sustainable world – particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Steve believes that, as well as being vital for the green energy transition, affordable and clean energy is a core building block for economic development. He also thinks that Decent Work and Economic Growth provides the foundation on which other highly important SDGs can build (e.g. education, poverty reduction and health).
