What led you to work in sustainable finance?

I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of caring professionals so far in my life. From that, it’s been clear that the meaning of savings isn’t money, but the potential to achieve life dreams. I’ve learned sustainable investing is one of the best ways to create connection – to the future, to loved ones and to individual identity.

Why Tribe?

There are only a certain number of financial institutions that have the bravery and gumption to explore the true frontier of financial services. Technology has an incredibly significant role in getting society to the next step, but social advancement and ecological resilience hold equal importance. Tribe is second-to-none in understanding this.

What’s one memorable work moment?

To me, work is who you work with. The best memories have been when my friends, colleagues, and clients are smiling and finding success. I remember one time, early in my career, there was a dinner celebrating my mentor’s 25th anniversary at the company. An entire ballroom gave him a roaring standing ovation that brought tears to his eyes. It was obvious how many lives he touched – I couldn’t have been happier for him.

What did you want to be growing up?

Someone meaningful to others, someone unique, someone memorable.

What’s your earliest memory?

I ran into a fireplace and got stitches as a young babe, that hurt.

If you had to pick, which of the 17 SDGs means the most to you and why?

A few years ago I’d go with a more grandiose SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions or SDG 17: Partnerships. But, under certain global circumstances, I now think it makes sense to concentrate on rebuilding from more foundational elements. Today, let’s go with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG 4: Quality Education.
