Keir is a private markets impact investment manager at Tribe, researching real assets and impact private equity fund managers. He is part of the impact investment team, working primarily on the Snowball Fund.
Keir’s career started on the manager research team at investment consultant Redington Ltd (now Gallagher), where he specialised in selecting infrastructure and real estate funds for institutional investors. During this time, he also co-led the financial education charity RedSTART Educate, which worked with primary schools across the UK to help young people become more confident and in control of their financial future.
After five years at Redington, Keir’s interest in impact investing led him to pursue a Master’s degree at the Institute of Development Studies, where he worked as a researcher examining the role of development finance institutions in mobilising private capital and in creating and evaluating impact.
Keir lives in Brighton, where outside of work he enjoys running on the South Downs, kitesurfing along the south coast, and walking his puppy in the park.
Was working as a tour guide at the Roman Baths museum in Bath. You’d be surprised at how many people tried (and succeeded) jumping into the 2,000 year old pool for a dip.
Was always to start with the end in mind. If you know what you’re trying to accomplish from the beginning, it makes everything from the most mundane task to the biggest project much more likely to succeed.
