What led you to work in sustainable finance?

As a compliance consultant, I’ve worked with many firms, and Tribe’s ethos and message really appealed to me. Knowing I can work within a business to help promote positive change in the world is very rewarding.

Why Tribe?

Fate – I was looking for a new challenge as Tribe was seeking a new compliance officer. I knew of the team, their amazing culture and supportive environment, and I was lucky enough to be successful in my application.

What’s your most memorable work milestone?

Cheesy, I know – but being lucky enough to be chosen to join the wonderful team at Tribe.

What did you want to be growing up?

I wanted to be a florist; I love flowers and always wanted that to be my career when I was younger.

What’s your earliest memory?

Sitting with my mum in the doctor’s surgery, colouring. She was pregnant with my little sister, so colouring was something we could do together. I think it was a ‘Munch Bunch’ colouring book!

If you had to pick, which of the 17 SDGs means the most to you and why?

SDG 4, Quality Education, because, as a Mum, I see inclusive, high‑quality education – particularly for girls who don’t always have the opportunity to be at school – as the foundation for empowerment and equality.

If you could have dinner with two people, who would they be? What would you discuss/ask them?

My nana and grandad. I realise now, as I get older, that I didn’t ask them enough questions when I could. I have a list of questions I would love to ask them now about their life experiences.

If you weren’t a compliance officer, what would you be?

I would be a maternity nurse. I have the utmost respect for those amazing people and the job they do.

What have you read, listened to, or watched recently that you’ve enjoyed?

I recently read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It was a recommendation from a former colleague, and it was a really thought-provoking read.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but never have?

Travel to Australia, I’ve never been and would love to visit, hopefully one day!

Give us an exclusive, what’s something no one knows about you?

I’m an incredibly open book and an over-sharer, so I’m sorry, but no exclusives!

The feet of the people I love most, standing together in a place that relaxes me and makes me feel calm and centred.
