Tribe joins global campaign calling for a treaty to phase out fossil fuels

Last week, we joined Triodos Bank and a coalition of other individuals and businesses in asking government officials in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Germany and Spain, as well as the EU Commission, to commit to phasing out fossil fuels.

Our planet is heating up at an unprecedented rate due to the burning of fossil fuels, and the evidence of this has been clear for some time now. It’s time for political leaders to act with urgency and courage to deliver the fair energy transition that our society, businesses, and planet so desperately need. We’re joining Triodos and many others in asking governments across Europe to commit to a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty (FFNPT) ahead of the climate conference (COP28) in December. The FFNPT is our compass, showing us the direction we must take to change course and phase out fossil fuels.
