Honor Sandy

Honor is an Operations Analyst at Tribe where she supports the Partners along with the broader business. Honor studied sociology at Newcastle University. Her dissertation looked into how the charity sector in Newcastle support those on Universal Credit. This was inspired by her time volunteering at Newcastle West End Foodbank.

Honor’s values are most closely aligned to Tribe Theme – Education & Equality, in particular Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and Goal 2 (Zero Hunger). Having studied gender equality and UK poverty at university, she passionately believes that it’s our collective responsibility to ensure women are given the same opportunities as men. Furthermore, as a developed country it’s our duty to eradicate poverty here at home, and work with other nations to tackle the issue globally.
